Enmeshed is the result of a connected network of contributors, bringing together expertise across materials, making, planting and recovery. Each plays a defined role within the installation, working as part of a single system rather than separate parts.

Relove Technology is the lead sponsor behind Enmeshed: Positive Pathways, bringing its circular recovery model into physical form.

The installation is built on a base of reclaimed circuitry and communications hardware recovered through Relove’s operation. Technology that would typically be written off is instead reintroduced, reworked and given continued purpose within a functioning system.

This is not a brand attached to a sustainability story. It is the model in practice, made visible. Devices are recovered and reintroduced into circulation rather than becoming waste.

Through a structured circular model, devices are refurbished and reintroduced into circulation, extending their life and keeping materials in use for longer.

Alex H Duncan, known as Composer in the Woods, brings a live audio dimension to Enmeshed through sound generated directly by the plants, fungi and mycelium within the installation itself. Using MIDI data and synthesisers, biological activity is translated into evolving soundscapes shaped by the living systems on display rather than pre-recorded compositions.

His contribution adds an immersive auditory layer to the installation, reinforcing connections between technology, ecology and communication across interconnected networks.
